Consent and Capacity Board: The Consent and Capacity Board is an independent body created by the Ontario government under the Health Care Consent Act.

Public Information Program: The CCB has developed a “Public Information Program;” an approximately one-hour long presentation provided by a CCB member or staff.

ARCH Disability Law Centre: ARCH provides a range of legal services to people with disabilities who live in Ontario.

Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) – Understanding Your Rights: CAMH is Canada’s largest mental health and addition treaching hospital, as well as one of the world’s leading reserach centres in the area of addiction and mental health.

Canadian Mental Health Association: The Canadian Mental Health Association is one of the oldest voluntary organizations in Canada. It provides direct mental health services and support to more than 100,000 Canadians across the country each year.

Community Legal Education Ontario (CLEO): CLEO is a community legal clinic that produces clear language material to assist people with low incomes.

Legal Aid Ontario (LAO): LAO gives low-income people access to a range of legal services tailored to meet their legal needs.

Mental Health Service Information Ontario (MHSIO): MHSIO provides free information about mental health services in Ontario.

Reach Canada: Reach Canada’s mission is to improve the quality of life for citizens with disabilities by offering lawyer referral and educational services at the community level.
